My 5 yr old son loves this game! He got it and 2 others for Christmas for his Leapster2 and this one has been in the game about 90% of the time.

So far, for Leapster math games, my 4yo daughter LOVES the Batman cartridge and the Star Wars Jedi Math. She puts the game on pause to count with her fingers during the subtraction and addition. Very happy to see that she enjoys doing math. I wish I had a Leapster 2 at this age.

just bought today -- too early to evaluate photos but wanted to alert potential buyers that the CD which has the users manual and all the computer software DOES NOT WORK for Windows 2000, nor does Canon offer any substitute online.

also, a review I read had mentioned incesssant auto-focusing. It true and somewhat disconcerting. Not sure I am happy with this purchase.

I've had this case for about a week now and it has already started to chip on the sides, and I have only used it for normal day to day use. although it does do a good job protecting the back of the ipod. I am starting to wonder when I will have to replace it, I think that's why it's so cheap.

Pros: cheap, fits

Cons: chips fast

I wanted something slim, something that wouldn't stick to the inside of my pocket, and something to protect the super easy to scratch and muck up polished back of my iTouch.

This has been a perfect solution, and after dropping the sucker from pocket height twice and this case saving it from being completely shattered, I'm sure the $5 or whatever I spent on it was completely worth it.

Exactly what I wanted.

Although this game operates as described. It has many draw backs that would not make it a good choice for a child.
1 - It's price - Not just the handheld but the additional price for games.
2 - The number of pieces to loose. Each of the games could be easily lost.
3- It boots slowly and how to operate is not instinctive. I had to read the directions several time before I understood.
Personally, I would recommend and iPod touch. The cost of the handheld is larger at the start. But it will be used for a longer period of time and there are many more games that can be purchased for less than $5 each plus many are free. In addition there are no cartages to keep up with or loose.

I mean for .99 cents its okay..
I didn't expect amazing results..
I'm a clumsy person so I drop my ipod a lot.. the case is actually very nice when protecting my ipod
however, after a few more drops it broke and I had to throw it away..
I had it for about 3 months..

My mother-in-law is a big scrabble fan and got this for Christmas. Three of us played and it was so boring. You all do your own thing creating your anagram, and when someone finishes, they win. There is no strategy, no interaction, not even any reason to talk to each other! This is a solitaire game for one person - and if you REALLY want to KILL a party - then bust out the Bananagrams.

So far the camera has performed OK, although I have not had time to test it thoroughly. The problem I had was the shipping time. I selected standard shipping, which is listed as 3-5 business days. That would have been plenty of time (with room to spare) for what I wanted, which was to use it for my son's birthday party and both kids' baptisms. Unfortunately, it took almost 3 weeks to receive it! Not sure what happened, but that was too late for both events; very disappointing.

We ordered this Leapster for our four year old who was SO excited since his last one broke. Immediatly after turning it on he was directed to the pre-installed game which seemed entirely inappropriate for kids. It's a dragon game with a very scary villian saying he 'hates' the sun and has a scary laugh. I know this may not seem so bad to many parents but to us it was awful. We try hard to not expose our kids to ugly monsters, dragons, and evil and were dissappointed to see that Leapster would have this as a standard game on their Leapster. We have returned this Leapster and are going to just order the other version so as to aviod this game.

this is a fun game. Not like scrabble where you play WITH SOMEONE. You race to see if you can use all of your letters and then the fun begins. Everyone must grab a new letter! So the play continues again. I liked this game alot!

The preinstalled games are "Dragons to the Rescue". The first game is just a digital art game -- simple but innocent. The second game is the reason we took it back. It is supposed to be a learning game where the Dragons collect crystals and answer questions to build words or numbers. But at the beginning there is a mean storm cloud that evily says, "I HATE the sun and all the pretty colors." He goes on to laugh wickedly. I'm sure this game is considered "tame" to many other computer games, but frankly, I was shocked knowing this was a Leapfrog product. I guess I assumed the pre-installed games would be Tad and Lily and Professor learning to spell or something like their videos. I called customer service to see if the games could be removed, but was told they can't be. My husband and I both thought it was inappropriate for our five year old daughter. We will be looking for something else.

I bought the camera as a gift. My daughter put it together at the birthday party. That's when we realized that there is no memory card in the package. We were unable to take any pictures! Very annoying!! and upsetting!!
